Dioceses of the United States of America
Student books now available with Roman Missal, Third Edition updates!
The preparation for and implementation of the Roman Missal, Third Edition is an opportunity for all of us to renew our understanding and appreciation of the Mass, the “source and summit” of our faith. The first use of the new text of the Roman Missal, Third Edition will be on the First Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011.
RCL Benziger has made the revisions that reflect the Roman Missal, Third Edition to our student books in the popular K-8 catechetical series – Faith First, Legacy Edition and Blest Are We, Faith & Word Edition - as well as to our sacrament preparation programs, these books are available now!
You may find additional information and ideas for implementation at http://www.usccb.org/romanmissal.
Together with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, we pray “May the implementation of the revised Roman Missal be a time of deepening, nurturing, and celebrating our faith through the renewal of our worship and the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy.”
