Leader		We thank God for the gift of Jesus who gave himself totally for others. As we pray and listen to God’s word, we focus on giving to others with all our hearts. Let us pray. Lord God, bless our time of prayer today. Show us your presence here in each one of us. Open our hearts to be generous givers of your love. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Leader		Just as Jesus gave himself fully without wanting anything in return, we too can give all that we are to our brothers and sisters in need. For open hearts, let us pray.
