Jesus, we place ourselves before you with open hands. We know we have hurt others, and there are many good things we have failed to do. During this season of Lent, we want to look deep into our hearts and learn the meaning of forgiveness. Help us to become more loving people.

I stay away from those who do not love you, those who rebel against you. Those who do not love you are not my friends, O Lord. See if my ways need correction, and show me the path that leads to goodness and life. (based on Psalm 139)
