Leader		Today we gather to give thanks for all that God has done for us. We thank Jesus for sending the Holy Spirit to us. We give thanks for the many people in our lives who love us. We give thanks for our homes, our school, and our parish church.
All		Amen.
READING
Leader		A reading from the Book of Acts. "The disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different languages as the Spirit led them. Everyone who heard them was amazed." The word of the Lord. (based on Acts 2:6–7)
All		Thanks be to God.
RESPONSE
Reader 1		Let us pray. O Lord, you have given us much to be thankful for. You have blessed us in many ways.
Reader 2		Fill our hearts with thankfulness and joy. We will share this thankfulness and joy with others.
Reader 3		Help us to share all that you have given us. We want to be generous, as you are generous. We pray this in Jesus’ name.
