Leader		Today we remember the great gift that Jesus gave us. He gave up his life for us. (Have the children hold their crosses during the prayer.)
All		In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
PRAYER
Leader		Jesus is sentenced to death and accepts his cross.
All		Thank you, Jesus. (Lift up the cross.)
Leader		Jesus falls while carrying his cross.
All		Thank you, Jesus. (Lift up the cross.)
Leader		Simon helps Jesus to carry his cross.
All		Thank you, Jesus. (Lift up the cross.)
Leader		Jesus sees his mother, Mary.
All		Thank you, Jesus. (Lift up the cross.)
Leader		Jesus is nailed to the cross.
All		Thank you, Jesus. (Lift up the cross.)
