Following study of Chapter 1, challenge students to illustrate symbols of the Trinity. Note that the shamrock, three-leafed clover, and triangle are frequently used. Encourage students to create a new Trinitarian symbol. This could be a cooperative class project or done individually. If this proves too challenging for some, have them illustrate one of the familiar symbols in a creative way. Note that study of the Trinity will continue throughout this year. As members of the Trinitarian Church we live in unity as the People of God, the Body of Christ, and the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Share the results with other classes or on a hallway bulletin board.
