Extend understanding of the Book of Proverbs. Have students write their own proverbs. Review a Proverb such as 3:28, "Give to others when they ask." Encourage them to think of some of the truths they have learned about life and God from their own experience. Invite your young people to create two original proverbs—one about what they have learned about life and the other about what they have learned about God. You might have them work in pairs. Afterward, invite volunteers to share their proverbs with the class.
