After studying Chapter 9, have students share ways the Holy Spirit guides them. On the chalkboard, write the words HOLY SPIRIT vertically with each letter on a line. Challenge students to come up with words or phrases that begin with each letter listed, e.g., helps me make good choices, opens my eyes to needs of others, leads me to play fair. Display the list throughout study of the unit. Encourage students to be mindful of the guides. Allow them to add more examples as they think of them.
