Communicate often and with every appropriate medium and method. From principal to parents, from teachers to support staff, look for every means and opportunity to share vision, tactics, and everyday news.

Contemplation
Take time to reflect and refresh your spirit. Find some quiet time alone. Background music can help set a sense of calm.

Celebration
Acknowledge often the joys and sorrows of those who serve with you. Educating and disciplining oneself to becoming festive in good times and bad times is crucial to success. The time dedicated to laughter and tears is time well spent. Jesus, himself, made table fellowship a hallmark of his ministry.

Community
A sense of community is essential to your mental and spiritual health. Form a support community with colleagues from other schools and gather frequently during the academic year to pray, share, and learn from each other. The time "wasted" in community will prevent your "wasting away" or burning out.
