Hail Mary

The Catholic Church prays in communion with Mary, acknowledging the great things God has done for her and to beg her intercession on our behalf. The "Hail Mary" is a special prayer to Mary, prayed individually or as part of the Rosary. The Catechism of the Catholic Church carefully studies this prayer in #s 2676-2677.
