Leader		Jesus, we gather together to honor your Mother, Mary. We thank you for giving her to us as our Mother, too.
All		We thank you. Amen.
READING
Leader		Listen to these words from the Gospel of Luke in the Bible. The angel Gabriel was sent by God to ask Mary to be Jesus’ Mother. Mary said, "My soul shouts that God is great. Rejoice! God has looked upon me and blessed me. God has done great things for me. Holy is God’s name." The Gospel of the Lord. (based on Luke 1:46–49)
All		Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

Leader		Mary, you said "yes" to God. Help us to have the courage to say "yes" to God.
All		Mary, pray for us.
Leader		Mary, you were Jesus’ Mother. You cared for him every day. May we care for others, too.
All		Mary, pray for us.
Leader		Mary, you taught Jesus to be kind. Teach us to be kind like Jesus.
All		Mary, pray for us.
