Have participants share what they think might be a typical day in the life of their parish priest. Make a list of their suggestions. Then, invite the priest to join your group for part of a session. Ask him to describe a typical day’s activities. Compare the list made by participants with his activities. Discuss the differences. Spend additional time just getting to know each other better. Participants may want to ask the priest how he is coping with the pedophilia crisis situation, and he may be relieved to be able to express some of his concerns.
