Have children select one of the Beatitudes listed in Chapter 7 of their books and discuss ways to live out that Beatitude both individually and as a group. Encourage them to choose actions with different levels of difficulty. For example, if they select "mercy" as their challenge they might: forgive those who have treated them unfairly, be kind to someone who has not been kind to them, help someone who asks for help with something even if they dont want to do it. After participants make a list of about 5 possibilities, have them select 3. Then make a list with the Beatitude written at the top and list the 3 actions. Display it in a place where participants will be reminded of their challenge.
