If weather and time permit, go outdoors together. If not, look out the window to discover changes that occur in creation. Look at trees, the ground, grass, roads; living and nonliving things. Everything is affected by change. Living things grow and die; nonliving things become worn. Listen to the sounds of nature and the sounds that come from things other than nature. Talk about God’s role in creation and our role as co-creators. How can we be good stewards of creation – just in terms of what we can see from our window or nature walk?
