O Lord, I am at an awesome place
in my faith life – and on my way
toward adulthood.
Send your Spirit to nourish and lead me
as I strive to build on and refresh
my spiritual understanding and faith skills.
Help me to develop moral values,
positive attitudes, and a healthy self-esteem.
I pray to develop a sense of responsibility
and find my place in the life of your Church.
Help me to be comfortable talking to you
in prayer as I learn how to live
a genuine Christian life.
I ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.
